I'm sort of new to gardening, I lived in an apartment for several years, then when I married my husband he had a house. We've been here 8 years this fall. I worked a lot in the beginning and didn't have time for the garden much, and when I did, I was always nervous to be in the garden in front of the more extasblished gardeners in the neighborhood. I became a stay at home Mom about 5 years ago and I love my garden, and those same ladies I was afraid of have given me tons of advice and smiles and encouragement in my own garden.
I've always liked little Elves and bunny statues in the garden, but until I discovered Garden Junk, I had no idea of the posibilities out there. I have gotten lots of ideas and encouragement from the site. I know that not everyone has the same idea of a pretty garden as I do, but I know what I like and what makes me happy, even when I have to pull weeds.
