Hello Everyone!
My name is Rizani o Reyes; I go by "Riz" for short. I ve been a part of these forums for a few years now and I enjoy giving and receiving advice and meeting enthusiastic gardeners!
I m 27 years old, a graduate of the University of Washington, with a BS in Environmental Horticulture & Urban Forestry. As much of a plant snob as I am, I also have other interests; Listening to music, traveling, dancing (I completed a minor in this field), just hanging out and being in my mid twenties, and, of course, I have my many projects involving plants!
As for other facts about me, I m Filipino and I get very excited when I meet other gardeners of my nationality to compare notes and chat plants and gardening!
Gardening has always been a part of my life. Since I was little, I ve always grown up around plants. From my family s fruit plantation back home to my small nursery here in North Seattle, it s been a blessing to be able to do what I love personally and professionally!
I m a huge fan of rare and unusual perennials, variegated plants, hostas, lilies, tropicals, orchids, and so many other things!
