Axels Rose...

Axel came to me in a dark time in my life. He soon became my best friend, constant companion and spiritual soul mate. He gave me strength when I was weak, courage when I was afraid, comfort when I was sad, friendship when I was alone and great joy, always. For all he gave me, when I looked in his eyes, I could deny him nothing. He died in my arms in the spring of 2001. Axels rose is a white tree rose planted in my garden in his honor. When I think of him it is what I see, the strength of a tree and a white rose, for the purity of his love and friendship. I will spend the rest of my life aspiring to be as good as my dog, my Rottweiler, my beloved best friend.
