Hey there - Im from a little town in Perry County, the only county in Pennsylvania without a red light. Been happily married for many, many years now, no kids - unless the 4-legged ones count - and Im enjoying the freedom of early retirement. I found THS back in 1999, while I was still working and totally addicted to the Seed Exchange forum @ GW - then is when my White Flower Garden started to sprout. Then, too, is when I discovered THS and I lurk here all the time on many of the forums. Im into sewing up rag quilts and charm quilts at the moment and got back into cross stitching once again. Im putting together my own cookbook with all my favorite recipes Ive collected through the years and could never live without. I too am in a constant struggle to declutter my home (DHs afraid our attic might collapse), because Im at that age where less is better - no more knick-knacks PLEASE !! Im a fabric-aholic now - so much so Im afraid my house is starting to tilt to the side where my sewing room is !! Needless to say I have learned a lot from the forums and members here - but most of all I love the friendships that I found here. Ive been away for a while, but now that I have this new puter, Im back and waving at all of you.
