We live in middle TN for 5 years now. The first year we whipped, cut, tilled, ammended soil, and planted. We picked Japanese Beetles off of our baby trees, caterpillars off of the tomatoes, chased the deer away, the woodchuck away, the bunnies away, smashed the mole hills. We've relaxed a bit now and have taken a look around. It's beautiful. And the prettiest parts were created by nature herself. We continue to work hard and love to garden...but we find ourselves just standing around alot grinning these days.
