I recently moved to Alaska, and after years gardening in Southern New Jersey, I'm starting from scratch. Back in Jersey, I grew perennials, annuals, herbs and veggies and had a small, pond. I was especially fond of herbs, daylilies and iris. Now that I live in Alaska, I have lots to learn and I look forward to learning about gardening in this beautiful and vastly different environment. Because Alaska is so ecologically sensitive, I would like to focus on propegating indigenous species to Alaska, and veggies and herbs for my kitchen garden.
