I have been making Hypertufa planters off and on for about 10 years, long before I even knew it had a name. I started out making bonsai pots because I wanted something more natural looking (and cheaper), than traditional bonsai pots.
I also do lapidary work, make some jewelry & have done stained glass & some mosiac. I also enjoy watercolor painting & creating bookmarks from those paintings. I owned a small bookstore for several years & just recently closed it due to the bad economy. I now work in a thrift store 3 days a week. It gives me plenty of time to do the crafty things I love.
