I'm a stay at home mom to a 13yr old and a 5yr old. We homeschool and that keeps us quite busy. We have a 3-acre sized yard, that I am trying to decorate with gardens. We built our home 8 years ago and have not been able to professionally landscape it. I'm trying to do what can physically (it's back-breaking), and on a very limited budget. I'm learning and enjoying it immensely. We have a large deck and I am experimenting with container gardening. We live on a stream and have a yellow lab that loves to swim. My husband is an entomologist/biologist and we all learn about nature through his expertise. Just can't wait to get out and dig in the dirt......winter has seemed extra long this year. A great gardening book to recommend, TROWEL AND ERROR, by Sharon Lovejoy.
