I live near Logan, Utah, which is in a beautiful mountain valley called Cache Valley (in the early 1800�s trappers stored their furs in a "cache"). I live in the bottom of the valley where the coldest air settles, so have seen -45 F. temperatures before. Despite the cold temperatures in the winter, I enjoy growning outdoors the following: Palms, Cacti, Magnolias, Hibiscus, Elephant Ears, Cannas, Azaleas, Wisteria, a variety of fruit trees, and trying anything tropical looking. When I�m not in tied up with the yard or other responsibilites, I enjoy mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
