Just like all of you out there I love gardening I just wish I had more time to garden. My other problem is that my husbands idea of a garden is concrete and lawn! Well we have enough disagreements about our garden.
At one time i had a lot of indoor plants, I was threthened that if I brought home another plant they were all going to the tip! What does one do? We had a very sheltered verendah so I arranged all my indoor plants out there. Hubby got home and humed and hud and said what did you do to the verandah love? it looks great out there, the plants thought so too!!
My hubby hates roses,he says they are too messy. So I buy them bare rooted and he has no idea what they are untill they come into flower and askes, \" what is that beautifull flower called?\" ;)

Well it's 2005 we had to get water tanks because of the water restrictions and hubby has to have a green lawn of course. It's more trouble than its workth if you ask me.

My Rose garden it not doing to badly I have to move some from east to west facing as they suffer too much from blackspot. It has taken me a while to understand the way things grow in this garden. In wintet it seems to be too damp and not enough sun. Oue neighbour has a large hedge he never clips it and it must be about 7 to 8 feet high. It blocks out the winter sun that comes from the north side. I am still contemplanting what to do with that part of the garden so as to get the most of it in winter.
