I am restarting my gardening this year after a year of being a total slacker. I plan on planting a lot of Florida-friendly natives as well as tropicals. I cannot wait to see my backyard come alive with new plants and flowers this year!
I love to read and surf the web. I am in a computer job as a career and gardening is a wonderful way to get away from that for awhile and be with nature.
I am so lucky that my wife and I settled in a town that has urban and agriculture mixed right within the city limits! Sometimes at night, I can a dang rooster crowing too early! LOL! Gardening is so full of life and it reminds me that we are connected to the earth more than we know.
I am proud to say that I come from generations of farmers on my dad and mom's side of the family and am happy to continue some of that in my own garden. :)
