I am a disabled stay-at-home; but my graphics
site is keeping me happily busy full time.I have
made wonderful online friends in the graphics
community and now I look forward to making
friends in the plant community.

In 1980, a natural disaster wiped away 10
years worth of gardening work and even all
the photos of things I had done. The grief
of the loss was great, but I remember it
all like yesterday--what a great time of
life that was.

I was a horticulturist for many years in
the northeast US; moved first to California
for 20 years, and now to South Carolina.
I have have a whole new set of
climate, soil, rainfall etc to learn.

Since my disability I have been unable to
do my first love and passion, which is real
gardening. So I fulfill myself vicariously
with creating plant and nature graphics, and
by being active in GardenWeb.

My art form is called Image Editing or
Image Manipulation. I have a giant collection
of copyright-expired antique image scans which
I use for the basis for my art. By the time
I am finished with an image it is truly my own
new unique work of art.
