I grew up a city girl in Texas and have just purchased an old farm house in the foothills of the Ozarks in NE Arkansas. It is a dream come true for me. I have always been interested in gardening but not on this large of a scale, I now have 8 acres to play with. I have done quite a bit of greenhouse gardening in the past. My main interests now run towards flowering shrubs, herbs and wildflowers and of course vegetable gardening. I haven't really decided what I want to do with this place so I am open to everything! I'm very interested in the possibility of herb gardening for profit. I have two kids that I homeschool and I do all the restoration and repairs on this old house by myself, so needless to say my plants have to fend for themselves quite a bit. I belong to a local gardening club that has been a wonderful source for me as I learn to garden in a new zone. And I am looking forward to utilizing the wealth of information and sharing with you all, Angie
