I live with my DH and 3 cats on 5 beautiful acres on the northern slopes of the San Gabriel Mountains. I garden on a fraction of the land, perhaps 1/2 acre, leaving the rest of the land in its natural, undeveloped state - a rarity in So. Ca. My front garden is a cottage style garden, with an emphasis on the plants that traditionally make up a cottage style garden - roses, hollyhocks, delfs, snaps, foxglove, etc. The gardens out back include a shade garden, a potager in a traditional fenced style, a drought tolerant/native garden and an ever growing orchard. We are also huge MLB fans - Angels and Cubs!
