I'm a US midwesterner, by conscious choice not default. There is a prairie garden in my backyard, and hybrid perennials in the front. My house is a 1977 ranch I am *slowly* remodeling, mostly DIY, year five and counting. Mediterranean hardware, mylar wallpaper, harvest gold everything - no wonder it was on the market for awhile. I appreciate all the shared wisdom, advice, and support on the forums.
