We have just moved to Brisbane from Auckland, NZ and are living on a rented property. I am a fanatical organic gardener, with special interest in growing heirloom vegetables, and self-sufficiency. I try to stay in touch with my inner hippie, but have strong opposition from my family ( 3 boys and a husband ) which has sold out totally to the consumer society! I have enjoyed reading about the trials and tribulations of other members and look forward to their imput as I come to grips with a different climate.
