Age 60. HMC/USN/RET, also professionally semi-retired,
working in the photo/video/sound production fields. I am
single, with osteoarthritis and possibly MS due to
unexplained nerve damage. I live with my father who is 88
and widowed. He shares my love of gardening.

I presently live in an apartment. I can only container
garden in our patio, which presents many varied problems
due to its location and micro-climate. Before this I was
an avid gardner, having at my disposal several acres of
land.

Presently I plant coleus, dusty miller, habanero pepper,
okra, miniature roses and bamboo. Many things I would like
to grow will not survive due to the 100+ temperatures
created in this patio in the summer.

My other hobbies include photography (42 years), computers
(6+ years), fishing (55 years) hunting (50 years),
nintendo and other games systems (7 years).

I own 3 computers and am knowledgeable with Windows NT4,
Windows 2000 and Linux. I use Adobe Photoshop and MS Word
on a regular basis. With Linux I use Gimp.

I support the US government in its quest for peace and only
wish I was able to be recalled to active duty with the
present situation in the middle east. I was USN but I spent
23 of 24 years with the Marine Corps as a Hospital Corpsman.
