Goal listed in order, are:

1) to regain good health and abundant energy for life, through producing all food at home (produce, small fruits, milk and cheese, nuts, small meat animals) using organic, sustainable production systems.

2) to gradually begin to support my family with a home-based food production small business, landscape nursery plant business, or combination of both. to reach the point where we need no other income to meet "all" of our needs.

3) to teach others to do the same.

4) my real dream is to grow my profits enough to start a larger farm on 20-300 acres, raising organic meats, i.e. beef, pork, chicken, turkey, rabbits. it can be done. I've read and seen many articles and books by those who are doing it, but to be successful the small family farm MUST be sustainable and do it "differently" than the industrial agriculture model. hence the term, "alternative agriculture." organic gardening for instance, is classified under alternative agriculture.

4) to become self-reliant in providing for my family's food, and income. no more working for the other guy, to make the profit for them while taking home a subsistence wage. uh uh. done with that!
