I got into succulents (mostly jades) when I inherited my mom's potted jades/succlents after she passed away. My sisters, wife, daughters, and I inherited pictures, jewelry, house, car, etc. But the plants are living things and mean so much more to me than any inanimate object. I feel a part of her, when she was taking care of these plants, are still with me as I continue to keep their care, until the day I have to pass them on to my daughters.
