I love looking at flowers but my mom's the green thumb in our family. I could kill a silk spider plant.
Not only that, I have a terrible fear of wasps, specifically yellowjackets. Got stung 7 times on July 8th, 4 days ago. Me!! How dare they. Oh well, I guess that'll happen when you accidentally 'discover' their nest by climbing up a hill in that direction. Good thing there was salt water in the river just below; I jumped.
Hence the nickname.
