We have a smallish pond which has recently been renovated (about 10x5)- it was a strange mix of formal and wildlife pond before, but it now has a beach and a bog garden which at the moment are looking very bare - no plants on either yet! The pond was well stocked with flag iris, pond weed and some waterlillies and not a lot else, so this year should be a lot more interesting (I hope).
Until we moved here 2 years ago we had ever had even had goldfish never mind a pond, but now I'm totally hooked and my 5 year old loves waching the frogs, toads and tadpoles. I have my suspicions that my other half is hooked too, but I don't want to encourage him too much in case he wants too much of a say in what happens!!!
