My Dad was a horticulture grad and made crosses with flowers, fruits and vegetables as a hobby. Ive followed in his footsteps and am starting to get serious about creating new varieties by collecting inbreds for trial crosses. My first big project will be to shoot for an adaptable, high yielding, commercially viable grain amaranth. If that takes off, who knows what Ill try next. There are so many possibilities.
