I own and operate Porterbrook Native Plants in Meigs County in southern Ohio. All of my plants are grown from seed collected in the wild throughout southern Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina. In 2001, I designed and provided the plants for the Parkersburg Library Arboretum in Parkersburg, WV. Research and dissemination of information about native plants is a critical part of operating my nursery. All of the plants are grown in trial beds to determine how well they can handle typical homeowner's gardens. I would like to hear from others in this forum with similar interests. When possible, I would be willing to exchange seeds.
