My name is Bonnie and I m the mother of six children ranging in age from 8 yrs - 23 yrs old, 4 boys and 2 girls. I m also the wife of 24 yrs to my husband Mark, whom I might add, despises gardening as much as I love it.- Imagine that! I discovered my love for gardening at the age of 15 when I worked a summer job at a local nursery and mail-order warehouse both budding fruit trees and filling mail orders. I recall the earthy smell of the warehouse being like a breath of heaven for me and still is today. My family and I recently relocated from NY (zone5)to Westpoint,TN (zone7)which is near the AL border. I can t tell you how excited I am to be able to garden in an area that s two zones warmer than I am now. Maybe, just maybe, I can get my roses to live more than one season. As much as I have a passion for gardening, I have to say that my true passion is for my Lord, Jesus Christ. I have enjoyed being able to meet and trade with new friends here on the GW who share that same passion and I look forward to a new year of trading and added friends.
