I love flowers. I have been active in the Society for Louisiana Irises and am Treasurer for the Louisiana Society for Horticultural Research. I am also a member of the Lafayette Garden Club.

I am retired from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette which is one reason why I became involved with the two societies. Both of them were started by faculty members.
