Born and raised in Gloucester MA. Left at 18 to join the Marines, met and married my husband 28 years ago. Have 3 grown children, a dog, and 6 chickens. My gardens consist of raised beds and old water troughs. Peach and cherry trees, blueberry and blackberry bushes. Grape vines as well. I'm able to work with and ride horses. {yay free manure!) After moving every 3 to 4 years, we have finally settled down in Northern Alabama. We have an older home that I am always attempting to improve. We are expecting our first shipment of Bee's this spring, and looking forward to an awesome garden with our newest partners in pollination. Former FFA member through HS. Poultry, Horses and Cattle. President of the Beekeepers Club for the year I graduated... [a very long time ago.] I can most everything I can get my hands on. I prefer pressure canning, but do on occasion use a boiling water bath. Teaching my soon to be daughter in law the ins and outs of canning/ putting food by. I love my life.
